Audience of the Future - Pittsburgh Symphony

I have the great pleasure of announcing something a little different… video!

For some time now, I have been working to transfer my skills as a still photographer into the world of motion. Over the winter, a dear friend came for a visit and a knowledge swap. He is a fantastic videographer who has been working to learn still photography and specifically wanted to learn to shoot, develop and scan film - something which I do all the time. I wanted to learn video. Over the course of a few very busy days, we took turns as student and teacher.

In April, my old friends in the Education and Community Engagement Department of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra invited me to come to Pittsburgh a few times to create a couple of videos highlighting two of their longest running and most successful programs. The first of these is their Audience of the Future program which gives high school students the opportunity to plan, promote and produce an actual PSO concert.

Without further ado, I give you the first of my new work. Stay tuned for another PSO video going live very soon. I hope you enjoy!
